the current economic situation in Iceland, it is difficult to give a
realistic accurate estimate of costs . For this reason, we have
reluctantly had to postpone the visit scheduled for 2010. We fully

The prehistoric museum in Thira has frescoes and artifacts recovered from Akrotiri giving a glimpse of Bronze Age life on the island.

The spectacular Caldera de Taburiente - which gave the name to all such
features.
Walk along the Ruta de Los Volcanes of the Cumbre Vieja summit crest.
The cinder cones and lavas south of Fuencaliente at the southern tip of
the island
The Parque Cultural La Zarza, with
stone carvings and museum giving an insight into the life
of the original inhabitants of the island, the Benahoares.
